Person constructed sculptures from scrap wood, incised with forms, rubbed with wax crayon and given shape, for use in his home. He replicated on cardboard and paper, usually both sides, the iconography with which he had ornamented this sculpture -- the flowers and trees, birds and fish from the natural world around him, the tools of his previous occupation in a sawmill and even television.
